Ooh just listen to how jazzy people feel about Sally O’Brien’s Passion.
Get in the know and flow and listen to Passion on these jazzy stations:
Mark Kerr from Blues Nation Review http://www.markkerrltd.com/
Very nice job ! You have a 40's sound to your voice. I really dig that!
You will be on Mark Kerr's Blues Nation home site from June 23 - thru - June 29
John Metta at Jazz Radio Tierra www.radiotierra.org/
It's refreshingly good! I added it to the morning Jazz lineup (Daily at
5-7) as well as my weekly show.
Manny G from Lake Hopatcong, NJ at BSG Radio www.live365.com/stations/bsgp?site=pro
“Extraordinary You”: Nice little rag-time feel! Perfect for a Saturday breakfast or a Sunday brunch.
“Perfection”: Thanks! Your sound is so refreshing and heart-felt. Makes us want to frequent the local blues haunts like we used to do back in New York City.
“Denise and Eddie”: Nice bluesy groove!
“Magic of Love”: Sounds like a tune we would hear at the "Blue Note" (New York City) or "Shanghai Jazz" (New Jersey).
Alain Bouet from Bluzz radio in Paris:
I received your CD and the title "Denise and Eddie" is now online on Bluzzradio.
I will also promote next week a second title "Perfection" on my second radio online called kanaljazz.
“Passion”, mostly jazz sprinkled with rhythm and blues, is fifteen original love songs meant to linger in your heart.
Hi, my name is Sally O’Brien and I teach at Breakthrough Magnet School in Hartford, CT. I started this project in December of 2002 when my sons were getting deployed. I couldn’t sleep at night; so I put that time to good use. I can’t read or write a note of music but have the ability to think complete whole songs fully orchestrated. I went to a local recording studio and with talented Hartford, CT musicians this cd was born.
Now, I am on to my next project of selling this cd to make higher education scholarships for Breakthrough Magnet School graduates. $5.00 from every $15.00 cd sold will help make this dream come true. I know dreams can come true; just listen to mine!
From my heart to yours,
