Since 1989, The Nation's Capitol has been blessed with Salvation Music Ministry. Washington, DC based group has established a strong presence on the local and national gospel music scene with their single (Search It). The six members of this mutil-talented group are not only anointed and gifted musician/vocalist, they are committed to bringing the message of and undying faith in GOD, through their soul-stirring music which crosses all generations, with this mission in mind, Salvation has delighted and inspired audience.

In February 1994, at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in downtown Nashville Salvation launched their national debut. In that blessed year, Salvation was one of the featured artist at the "First Diamond Festival ( gospel television programming, headed by Dr. Bobby Jones) in Las Vegas, Nevada. In May of that year, Salvation was the opening ministry for Dr. Bobby Jones and New Life at the highly acclaimed Barbados Gospel Festival at the Barbados Convention Center in beautiful Barbados. Some of the other accomplishment for the group that year, was being named Best Gospel Group/Duo at the Dream Network Music Competition and runner-up in the Quaker Oats Washington-Baltimore Gospel Festival (hosted by Vickie Winans)

In 1995, with God's blessing, Salvation received the Excellence Award for Best Quartet Group/Duo at the Gospel Music Workshop of America ( DC Chapter 25th Anniversary, Shirley MK Berkeley- President & Treasure for National Convention).

In 1997, Salvation was blessed to perform in New York City at a Pre-Grammy Gala. A honor was bestowed upon Salvation in 1997 when the organization was selected as a finalist for a Mayor's Art Award for Outstanding Emerging Artist, one of the highest honors given bby the Nation's Capitol for outstanding organization. The Smithsonian along with K-Mart blessed this group once again by selecting there music to be featured in a exhibit that traveled around the country hosted by CeCe Winans, "The Wade in the Water."

God has continued to bless Salvation Music Ministry, with their performanc with such noted National and International artist as BeBe and CeCe Winans, kirk Franklin, Dr. Bobby Jones, Richard Smallwood, The Canton Spirituals, Evelyn Turrentine-Agee, Minister Daryl Coley, Pastor-John P. Kee, Pastor-Hezekiah Walker, Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson, Fred Hammond , Pastor-Howard "Slim" Hunt, and The Williams Brothers.

The members of Salvation, understand there calling from GOD that he has placed on their lives, this to be Ambassadors for Christ, through gospel music. The members have dealt with and been delivered from life's varies circumstance. Because of GOD's grace and mercy in their lives, they have lend a helping hand community outreach ministries in the area's of education on HIV/AIDs, Diabetes, Cancer research, toys for tots during holidays, feed the children. With GOD and the softening-power of gospel music the praise God by saying I realize it was nobody but, I realize it was nobody but JESUS
