Album Notes

"... Baglio offers up a certified lo-fi gem with his new release Memory Theatre.
Creating stark musical backgrounds with synths, guitars and punches in his voice in varied states of consciousness and lets the hard drive capture the essence of the event.
Baglio's subject matter is just as wacky and diverse as his choice of musical weaponry.

"Starboy" is an obvious nod to his childhood fantasies of flying to the stars and finding adventure. "The Boy With The Amplifier Head" reflects the life of a young kid who doesn't quite fit in and is always teased by his peers. It's more sad than funny but hits a serious sentiment squarely on the head. "Majorette" depicts a young girl's first encounter with sex and the decision she made that changed her life forever. "Nicky Zulu" has a swampy, Cajun feel to it that shimmers like shiny silver coins in the moonlight.
Salvatore Baglio continues to evolve musically and spiritually.

"Perhaps the most inspiring and original set of tunes we've heard yet. Fans of lo-fi are likely to yield no end of Magnetic Fields, Stephin Merritt, Flare, Babybird, Daniel Johnston and Santa Sprees related pleasures but this manic little screwball high-school review has something all of it's own. Exquisite tunes, tirelessly referential images, soundtracky, sequential and plucked from a sparkly constellation of toys and stars. Bloody marvelous. Every tune a winner."
- Alan Sargeant - CRUD MAGAZINE www.crudmusic.com

"Baglio is truly New England Rock Royalty and though the crown might be slightly bloodied from the wear of the road, it shines with the jewels of genius"
- Brian Wheeler - Marblehead Festival of Arts
