Being the Hollywood child of actress Sally Struthers just hints at the extraordinary life and work of Sam Rader. A self-taught musician, Sam’s sensual voice and distinctive melodies are as beckoning and satisfying as sun-warmed sand.

Sam’s debut album Goldstar Galaxy is a collection of sexy, earthy pop songs penned by Sam or co-written with visionary producer Scott Seiver. This ambitious seven song EP seems to achieve the impossible: both depth and appeal.

Sam began writing in her early twenties, inspired by artists such as Jeff Buckley, Paul McCartney, Fiona Apple, Radiohead, Beck, Tori Amos, Nick Drake, Lenny Kravitz and Jason Falkner. She’s spent the past seven years playing out to a local devoted audience while also pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Sam’s vibrant, magnetic and tender presence shines through in her songs, and there is no doubt this beautiful 28-year-old woman is very much on the rise.
