Album Notes

I've just completed the first two songs on this group of songs, TO GET LOVE and GIMMIE BACK MY LOVE, April 2010. I liked them enough to put them out for the world to hear. The other songs I wrote some time ago, but always thought they were great pop songs that I should let the world also hear. The song LITTLE BIT A MAGIC was first heard on MTV in the late eighties.

So you know a little bit about the artist, first of all, I was into the top ten hits when I was four years old, and I was singing along with them at that time as well. Music, I’ve learned, is a spiritual endeavor, and my young spirit was touched, moved, and inspired by the artists I heard way back when in the 60’s. And unbeknownst to me, my subconscious was soaking it all up, gearing me up for a musical adventure of my own. I didn’t realize it at that time - I do now, and I think you’ll agree after listening to my songs, music is a gift I possess and now is as good a time as any to share it with you and to the world.

As you listen to my songs, I think you can hear the Beatle influence, a hint of the Motown influence (TO GET LOVE), and the sixties hits influence. I certainly had enough servings of all of the above to keep me going for decades. So many great songs that resonated with catchy lyrics, sweet melodies, and great beats that, when all combined, had the power to touch your heart and soul like a lover – that’s what it’s done to me anyway. That’s the music I love. That’s the kind of music I’ve done my best to create. I hope my music touches and lifts your spirit.
