Music in Blue and Pink was inspired by Georgia O'Keefe's painting, "Music in Pink and Blue II" and includes improvisational work by Sam Utah. After twenty plus years of composing and improvising we have his first release, Music in Blue and Pink. Blue for the somber times and pink for the beauty of being alive. It is a sensual and integrative music that calls to some people and relaxes others.
This music often serves as background music for dinner, romance, quiet times and reflection and if you pay attention, you will notice the sense of melody and orchestration Sam has brought forth from wherever he finds his inspiration. People tell us the music is relaxing and beautiful. Some say it is sensual, emotional and spiritual at the same time. Give it a try.

enjoying relaxation and expression of Sam Utah

This is my 3rd Sam Utah CD. It is the bdst yet, evidencing growth and confidence in its exceptional, soothing ride into relaxation and completeness. The artist's addition of vocals is a positive enhancement. The poetry is provocative and reminiscent of and an improvement over Rod McCuen of the 1970's. In short, I like and heartily recommend this CD to my friends.

Relaxing, beautiful, resplendant sounds

While traveling through the Sierra Nevada foothills, I listened to this beautiful piece of music. Each majestic view of hills and valleys was accompanied by the wonderful sounds of Sam Utah's majestic work. It was as if the music matched the twists and turns of the mountain road. Magical and wonderful, yet also relaxing and spiritual. Lovely piece of work here. Recommend it very highly.

Completely Relaxing

Listening to this CD while stuck in Bay Area traffic, made the ride very relaxing. I was able to tune out being cut off, lane shared, and nearly rear ended.
I plan on purchasing more of Sam's CD's as I believe they will help me keep things in focus. All I can say is Thanks Sam and please keep it up!
