Album Notes

The debut cd for Leslie Sanazaro, "Stars in the Attic" is a clean, and honest production of singer-songwriter style pop with just a touch of jazz influence. The songs are thoughtful and fairly serious most of the time with a tongue-in-cheek moment from time to time. It is not overplayed or overproduced and great care was taken in it's production to relish and keep pure the original intent of the song and it's lyrics. Overall, a laid back, lush sounding record with not too much affectation. Soft and starry like it's title. A great first offering by Leslie Sanazaro. Currently out of print and only available digitally. However, a fresh press of the record will be re-released in January 2010.

I really like this CD, she's even better live. She's going places and quick, she outclasses most things on the radio today.

The CD has been playing in my car since I got it. Good lyrics and clean, soulful voice. Stars in the Attic holds it own with singer/songwriters, and I look forward to more from the artist.
