Sandgarden is an instrumental guitar duo, playing World-influenced original compositions. We play primarily Spanish nylon-string guitars, with occasional percussion accompaniment. Our goal is to fuse all of our influences (Spanish, Mexican, Arabic, Rock and Roll, Americana) into a format that is both relaxing and invigorating.
Sandgarden was created in 2003. One entire year was spent developing original material, and showcasing it at restaurants, private parties, and community events. Recording took place in 2004.
The album "Texican Guitars" contains 12 original songs. Each song has a different feeling and images associated with it. Most of the tracks were recorded live and in one take, to capture an improvised and natural feeling.
"Texican Guitars" is an authentically personal musical expression, and we hope you enjoy it.

I love this CD!!! The music is invigorating and enjoyably interesting. It is unusual to hear so many flavors blended seamlessly into music the way Sandgarden has. I listen to it often and always enjoy.

Very unique and eclectic instrumentals
author: Jet
Great music; at times very exotic, and other times very familiar and soothing. Good compositions, good musicianship, especially if you like acoustic guitars. Well done!
