Album Notes

Singer/songwriter Sandi Hammond first started writing pop songs at age 11. In her late teens she graced the stages of Tanglewood, Symphony Hall and Carnegie Hall while performing with several professional choral groups. Now a gifted classically trained singer/songwriter, and a fine musician on keyboards and guitar, she touches audiences with her prolific and impressive repertoire of unique melodic songs. Fans describe her versatile soprano voice as full and emotional. She is most inspired by Joni Mitchell, Paula Cole, Annie Lennox and Elton John.

In 2000, Sandi released her own debut solo CD, RUBBERGIRL (Aspire Records), to a sellout crowd at Club Passim. Touring to promote RUBBERGIRL and RESPOND, Sandi has shared the stage with Pheobe Snow, Mindy Jostyn, Lori McKenna, Kris Delmhorst, Faith Soloway, Pamela Means, Jules Verdone, Colleen Sexton, Kerri Powers, Anne Heaton, Christopher Williams, Rachel McCartney, and Laurie Geltman.

Sandi recently returned from an East Coast tour and is receiving a lot of attention for her beautiful voice and well crafted songs. She's a talented up and coming artist with more music on the way!
