WE HOPE THE NEXT ONE DOES NOT TAKE SO LONG!

About The Songs:

# 1.
Grandma's Song
This is Sandra Kaye's most requested song. It was not written to fit any particular type of music and it is obvious from the overwhelming respose, this song touches peoples hearts!
After many years of searching for the money, "The LEGEND Band" found their way to Moonra Studio located above what used to be Haley's Light and Sound in Pensacola, Florida.
This song was originally performed as "The Mighty Carousels". Robert Kelson, Drummer, died in a car wreck 2 years before, so Keyboardist Silva Saxon used a drum machine to copy Robert's every lick.
Also performing: Barry Miller on Bass and Jim Nunnelley on Guitars and harmonica.
Sandra Kaye, Jim, Barry and Robert (yes, you can still hear Robert's harmony) on vocals.

# 2.
Edge of Seventeen
Also asked for as "White Wing Dove",
one of Sandra Kaye's most requested songs since 1984!

# 3.
Can't Let That Bother Me
Silva Saxon wrote it. Sandra Kaye sings it. And it only took 3 years to get this one out of the studio! Musicians have a right to change their minds.
Silva on Piano, B3 Organ, Horns, Drums and Bass Guitar.
Jim Nunnelley on Lead and Rhythm Guitar.
Lucky Kelson performing as Engineer.
Recorded at Lucky K Studio in Pensacola, Florida.

# 4.
Truly Madly Deeply
One of Sandra Kaye's most requested "Love" songs originally recorded by Savage Garden.

# 5.
Hard Drinkin' Good Timin' Woman
Sandra Kaye's very first project.
She personally walked it through the whole process and learned much!
Recorded in 1984, at Wishbone Studio, Muscle Shoals, Alabama with Pensacola's own, Clayton Ivey arranging and overseeing the production.
Engineers and musicians had just completed albums for Alabama, Hank Jr and others. Back up Singers worked with Crystal Gale and Ronnie Milsap.
Piano: Clayton Ivey
Drums: Roger Clark
Bass Guitar: Bob Wray
Steel Guitar: Jeff Alan
Lead & Rhythm Guitar: Larry Byron
Backup Singers: Ava Aldridge, Marie Tomblinson & Susie Storm
Studio Engineers: Alan Schulman & Lee Dailey.
The song was #1 in Meridian, Mississippi and gained nationwide airplay in towns where Sandra Kaye had never performed.
She also performed the song on TNN's "You Can Be A Star" and learned what it's like to get Money-By-Mail.
This song became an anthem for women across Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

# 6.
Love Sneaking Up On You
Not only is it one of Sandra Kaye's most requested songs, it's also one of her favorite Bonnie Raitt tunes.

# 7.
Loving Arms
This song has always been a favorite for Sandra Kaye.
Singing along with a recorded tape of Dobie Gray has got her through some rough times. Elvis also recorded this song and more recently the Dixie Chicks.
Sandra Kaye dedicates this song to her Father who bailed her out of many situations but passed away in 1994.

Some of the best music you've never heard
author: David Gerrard
Sandra Kaye's - Cant let that bother me is easily among the best productions I have ever heard. The original songs are insightful and entertaining and the covers are all imaginative and uniquely presented. Of Truely, Madly, Deeply .. I never even liked this song before I heard Sandra sing it .. it is now among my favorites. As the owner of www.FILEtopiaLive.com I get to hear and present Independent music to a global audience and Sandra Kaye and Silva Saxon's material continues to be among the top requested music since we started presenting it in April 2003. I have only 2 words left to say here .. BUY IT

Love the music and play it often in all my gigs as a DJ!!!!
author: Al Rutherford (Party Zone Entertainment)
Sandra (&Silva) I met you two a couple of weeks ago while on vacation in P'Cola. Had a great time at Sam's (the old Papy's) that Sat (July 12th). I Loved track one on the CD which you did by request that night, and as I told Ya, I will do all I can to promote you guys and especially "Grandma's Song". I still get a mist in the eyes and chill bumps on my skin everytime I hear the song. By the way, if the Legends band is still active, would like to do a gig around Troy, Al., a local club may be interested in having you all play. You can contact me at branwyn@troycable.net with response for the possible show and I'll relay any contact info to the owners to talk to you personally. In the mean time I will continue to play your music frequently during my shows as a DJ/KJ... Love it when folks ask where I got such a great song - Grandma's Song - and especially when they ask why they haven't heard it on the radio etc... I have run across one person hear who has heard that song before.. has a sister he visits regularly at Perdido :) By the way I bought two of the CD's so I could alway have one in my van when I am driving down the road and another for my mobile DJ/KJ Business. Best of Luck! Love the Music.. Your professional attitude I experienced while visiting P'Cola.. and emphatise with the struggle you experience trying to make a go of it in the music industry!!
