Album Notes

I was born Sandra Lee Vitale in Stanford, Connecticut to Maude and Frank Vitale. All my life I wanted to be a “Country Singer” but God had a different plan for me. I first had to survive two abusive relationships, which I now know happened so that I could be a testament to his Grace and Majesty.

I left my family to get into an emotionally abusive relationship, and then left that relationship to get into a physically abusive relationship. During this time, I went through all the typical stuff: I was ashamed that I was involved in this type of thing, I felt like it was partly my fault, and I was scared of facing the alternative.

Then one day I found the Lord! I realized that no matter what I had done, no matter what I will do, Jesus had already died for my sins. This revelation helped my singing and songwriting dramatically, as I was able to put my experiences on paper and then to song. Jesus has been so good to my music career, directing me to special Christ loving people that inspire me in my music career.

The ability to sing His praises was increased when He delivered me from cigarettes. That was a miracle with no withdrawal and no desire. Every year without cigarettes increases my singing abilities. This makes my seventh year without cigarettes, thanks to God’s love.

In January 1, 1999 I married the love of my life, Don. He has been a God-send! We now live in Gallatin, TN. I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren, and Don has 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchild.

I want to thank John Rees - GodsChild Records for his input in all the songs on this album. Also John Rees -GodsChild Records produced three other albums. John Rees's arrangements were exactly what I needed to put the songs across. John Rees's ability to give me exactly what I wanted was uncanny, also appreciated.
