Seventh Angel needs no introduction. They took the world by storm in the early 90's with their major label release The Torment, and they continued to give fans reason for more with their second release Lament for the Weary. Seventh Angel was also known for delivering it's adeptly, tightly played thrash / death in sweat and blood at wild, adrenaline rushing live shows. Prior to releasing The Torment, Seventh Angel recorded a 4-song demo entitled Heed the Warning which helped land them their first record deal. It was available only in limited quantities and only on cassette in the early 90's. Now, for the first time, these 4 songs appear on CD, fully remastered by Rob Colwell of Bombworks Records. Additionally, 8 songs collected from various live concerts in 1992 (after Lament for the Weary was released) are also included for the first time ever on CD, fully remastered as well. It isn't hard to see why Seventh Angel has been so popular throughout the years, and now Bombworks Records is making it available for the rest of the world to hear.

Absolute heaviest Christian metal band ever. Metal as is should be played.

What can one say about Seventh Angel other than they were far too short lived. Hearing the live cuts on this disc I can say with all conviction that they were just as heavy live as Trouble (and I saw Trouble live way back on the skull tour)I said earlier that they were the heaviest Chistian metal band ever, In my humble opinion they were within the top ten heaviest metal bands PERIOD!This disc along with their Lament for the weary album should be part of every serious metal fan's collection.
