\'Sang\'n Clarence\' is a southern born, soulful singer with a personality that beats the band. Born Clarence Ray Brown, raised in the church, in Fort Worth, Texas, he learned to harmonize by singing in quartets and gospel groups. His popularity rapidly grew and he became one of the most requested solo artist in his region. His long time friend, Johnnie Taylor mentored and encouraged him to perform with him as a show opener.

With a sound that reminds you of Al Green, gospel legend Solomon Burke, and The Whaler Johnnie Taylor, he takes the stage by storm.

Currently, Sang\'n Clarence is a member of Mel Waiter\'s Hit It & Quit It Band. No one can warm up a crowd like he can with hot, new dance tracks like \'I Might As Well Party\' and \'Soul Swang\' from his new CD.
