Santa Claus makes his singing debut on "You've Got To Believe," to be released on November 15, 2005, with a $5 from each cd being donated to three charities: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Children's Aid Society, Starlight Starbright Foundation.
He's been making toys and visits around the world for centuries but who knew Santa Claus could also make music! Santa recently took a much-needed break from his toy making duties and traveled with Mrs. Claus and Rudolph to Nashville, Tennessee to record "You've Got To Believe." "I've been making toys forever but I secretly always wanted to record an album. When I'm not working, Mrs. Claus and I like to sing karaoke!" Santa is joined on the album by an impressive group of musicians who jumped at the chance to work with the "Man In Red." Rounding out Santa's band, The Toymakers are: Charlie Morgan (Elton John, Paul McCartney) on drums; Dennis Burnside (Garth Brooks, Martina McBride) on piano; Robbi Calvo (who was awarded "Best guitarist in England") on guitar and James Cook (Sony Recording Artist) on bass. An avid Elvis Presley fan, Santa recruited Elvis' original background singers The Jordanaires and Millie Kirkham to sing on several songs including a beautiful remake of "Blue Christmas".
"You Got To Believe," which was produced by Caesar Cirigliano (Billy Dean) in Nashville, features Santa singing ten Christmas favorites including: "Here Comes Santa Claus" and "Blue Christmas," originally made popular by Elvis; Elton's John's rocking "Step Into Christmas;" "Bing Crosby's perennial classic "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas;" and the holiday favorites "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Holly Jolly Christmas," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Jingle Bell Rock," and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." Last but not least is the soon-to-be Christmas classic "You Got To Believe in Me" which Santa co-wrote with his elf John Tumminello "When I travel across the world, I meet so many people who have lost the Christmas spirit." Santa said. "We wrote this song to help people rediscover that magical feeling of being young at heart."
Always one to help others and bring the magic of Christmas to the world, Santa is donating a portion of the proceeds four worthy charities: St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, founded by entertainer Danny Thomas; Children's Aid Society, Starlight Starbright Foundation and the You've Got To Believe Foundation. "Most of us live very blessed and fortunate lives, we should always take time to help our neighbors in need." said Santa. "I selected these charities due to their outstanding support of sick and needy children." Santa started the You've Got To Believe Foundation to provide music equipment, lessons and the gift of music to music schools and children's hospitals in Staten Island, where Santa resides during the summer and Nashville, Tennessee, location of Santa's record label, three minute records.
In addition to visiting malls and chimneys around the world, Santa has appeared on several television programs including "Late Night With David Letterman" and "Good Morning America." He will be making personal appearances each holiday season at ABC Home & Carpet in Manhattan on weekends from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
You've Got to believe will also be available at www.cdbaby.com and stores in New York, Tenneseee and Illinois. Check out www.SantaAndTheToymakers.com for more details.

Santa's CD generously fills you with the spirit of Christmas
author: Harvey L. Cummins
I went to see Santa yesterday - the maker of this wonderful Christmas CD. It is the best and warmest Christmas album I have ever heard and is top shelf. Santa knows how to capture the true spirit of Christmas and it is expressed in his singing voice and group who accompanied him with the music. I look forward to a new album with more great songs next year. Thank you for adding to my spirit and CD collection

"You Gotta Believe" after you listen to this cd.
author: Jessie Ryan
"You Gotta Believe" that Santa lives after listening to this cd. Only Old Saint Nick himself could make a cd that is this spectacular. This cd includes traditional Christmas favorites, and an original song "You Gotta Believe". This cd makes you believe in Christmas again, and that itself is priceless.
