Album Notes

Born in the haunted backwoods of Louisiana where atmosphere plays as much a part of the music as the rich cultural legacy of the South. This isn't alternative, metal, or emo. This is Santeria, a kick out the jams, psyouthern rock & roll band. Their cultural isolation from the rest of the world has birthed something starkly original, yet catchy...a mix of hard rock, psychedelia, world music, & haunted blues. Since their inception in 1994, they have existed outside the mainstream, releasing their own records, and doing their own thing without the help of outside influence, letting their music spread throughout the world in a natural and organic way minus the obnoxious petitioning of paid-for-and-bought music promo companies and corporate record labels. The future is bright and unwritten.
