And the story goes.....
Since they all were young, they have been experiencing the intangible magic of music. Brought up listening to wide musical spectrums, the most influential sounds came at an early age for all of them. They all gravitated mostly to the sound of people performing live. They lived and learned from the late night jam sessions, the live band playing at a family wedding, jammin tunes with strangers who soon become friends around a camp fire, or the hours of intense focus spent in an empty closet in the corner of the basement. They always have had much respect for the innovators and motivators that helped them become the musicians they are today. Roots...... That is S.A.R.
They have found a sound that is all their own. Diversity is key to their song writing. The individual styles of each instrument are so different, that when put together, the music becomes a very original sound that is hard to categorize. Having performed with such national acts as Sponge and Men at work, they are one of the best shows in Detroit. S.A.R.'s live performance is always delivered with power and feeling. Because they believe in what they do without prejudice, there are no "influence" boundaries, there talents run deep. But most of all, the live vibe is where it's at with this group.......... Live, they find that musical connection that happens so rarely.

The music on this CD is on par with any rawkkin female fronted band I have ever heard & I have heard them all & Heart is one of my fave's & SAR would give the Wilson sisters a run for their tour-money! Beautifully written music & lyrics--a real keeper

Why aren't more cd's made like this?

This a fabulous cd! I enjoyed every single song,something that doesn't happen as often anymore. Songs like March,Ounce upon a Time, That's The Way It Goes, and Let It Go, has an energy to it that is so contagious, you can't help play it over and over. Your CD collection is not complete without it!

Original , Talented - Great sound!!!

This disc is something trully original in a world of "trend" ladden music and musicians these days. Best sounding disc I have heard in a while. It's not over produced, or "gimmicky" Their music has a timeless sound about it. It's also well recorded. Do not make the mistake, as I did a few times, and pass on this disc. It is really good!

I heard about SAR for the 1st time through Apple iTune's Store. Immediately I knew I had to have their album. I searched for them all over the internet until I ended here at CD Baby. I had the most wonderful experiencie, both from the CD and from CD Baby. S.A.R's style is unique. Alternative rock trend, with a little twist of freshness makes this Album a must-have for those who like clean modern style. Don't let this album away from your collection!!
