Album Notes

Sarah Cram is 27 years old and a singer/songwriter from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her debut album "Darlin" was just released in August 2005. Sarah wrote, played, sang and produced every song. The guitar chords are fundamental, the vocals demure and the theme-simply love. The album was recorded on a two inch tape machine in an abandoned church in Toddville, Iowa. The songs on the disc are in chronological order, telling the story from the ending of one love through the begining of a new. In her words, these songs "illustrate the evolution of my writing abilities. My influences and styles are always changing. I grow as an artist through the course of the album."

"There, There" is my favorite song on this CD.  No, "Love Isn't Enough", well you get my point.  Sarah Cram takes the listener on a trip into her world with this CD.  The love, the heartbreak, the feeling of finding love.  You get it all with is CD.  This is songwriting at its best.  I was told to keep this review short so in a word,"BUY THIS CD !!!".   I did, and I'm diggin it! -
