Always a musician and always a writer, this is Sarah’s first single to be recorded and released to the world. And it’s a special one. Three years ago, the son of a very dear friend was killed while serving in Afghanistan. A veteran herself (U.S. Air Force), it affected her deeply, and she was moved to write this song for Marine Corporal Nicholas Xiarhos, her hometown hero. She wrote the song for Nick, but it’s really for all military members and their families, and for this great nation.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Massachusetts Iraq and Afghanistan Fallen Heroes Fund.
Music and Lyrics: Sarah Greene

Look for more from Sarah in the very near future. She’ll soon be releasing “Never Should’ve Been,” a mournful country song all about, what else, lost love (and the jerk who took it from her.)
