Album Notes

Sarah Jane was born and raised in Huntington, NY. She was introduced to music at a very young age from her father, an opera singer, and her mother. Together they exposed her to performing arts from opera to musical theatre and from that exposure Sarah Jane’s appreciation and love of music blossomed.

Sarah Jane started studying voice and acting professionally in New York City in high school and continued through college. She holds a BA in Speech Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Hofstra University.

Professionally Sarah Jane has performed off Broadway and has produced two of her own cabarets in New York City entitled I’m Just a Broadway Baby and This N’ That. She currently performs at corporate events and benefit functions in and around Manhattan.

Sarah Jane has a vast vocabulary and love of music of all styles and from all eras. Her premier self-produced album, Sarah Jane Sings, is the perfect representation of Sarah Jane and a celebration of the music and performers that have influenced her during her life. She was very fortunate to have been able to work with some of the best musicians in the business. It was the hardest work Sarah Jane has ever done and of which she is most proud. She is very happy to finally share it with others and eagerly waits to see where the songs take her.
