Album Notes

It all began on the tropical island of Serendipity where a baby was born. This baby learned to coo to the swell of the dolphin filled waters, the warm gentle breezes through the palms and to the myriad of birds dwelling in the garden. She ate hot curries from her nanny, Soma's plate and studied the playful nature of shadows and light from her crib.
This baby's name was Sarah Marshall who is now a woman continuing her passionate journey through art and music.
This CD 'All The Dreamers' is a culmination of her adventure so far...The song 'Underwater' appeared in the award winning movie 'Moving Malcolm' in 2003 and 'This Young Man' was the most requested song of 2003 on the National CBC program 'Richardson's Roundup'. Songs from 'All The Dreamers' receive regular airplay on CBC, BBC Scotland as well as 18+ college stations across Canada.
Sarah is surrounded by a galaxy of stellar players from Vancouver, BC where she now happily resides with her husband/producer Budge Schachte. Musicians on the album are Nick Apivor, Phil Robertson, Chris Trinidad, Cameron Wilson, Finn Manniche, Tony Nickells, Douglas Schmidt, Geoffrey Kelly, Brad Muirhead, Chris Startup and that dynamic duo Budge and Sarah.
Sarah and her magnificant team are currently performing concerts as well as creating the next album with the intention of a March 21st, 2008 release.
This up and coming artist is now writing her first novel among other quirky projects. To see what else Sarah is up to visit her website @ www.sarahmarshall.ca!

Greatest song: This Young Man - So I bought CD

Bought this CD because of the song This Young Man. My kids love that song and do impromptu interpretive dance to the rest of the album and are inspired to grace and beauty as only kids under the age of 10 can be. Waiting for the second one. smiles . . .

The cover to this album is really captivating. I'd like to hear the music a little more diverse.I feel that this artist has great potential and if she had the willingness to be a bit more out there and bolder, could go on to do really interesting things.

I first heard Sarah's music on CBC radio and went looking for the CD. I'm glad I did. It's beautiful, singable, soulful, full of heart but also unique, interesting music that's great to have on in the car, while cooking, reading, relaxing. I highly recommend it. My new favourite!
