Album Notes

Sarah first sings in public at the age of 18: she performs with several local jazz bands and she develops a certain personal style.
In 1998 she wins a national singing contest.
In 2000 she works as a touristic enterteiner in Sardinia and she performs onstage as a dancer, actress and singer. In 2003 she gets to know a famous italian producer, Guido Guglielminetti, she writes "A long way" with.
In 2003 she attends the Berklee Clinics during Umbria Jazz: she attends a vocal technique class with Donna McElroy and an improv class with Steve Prosser. She performs onstage with her profs and Bobby McFerrin.
In 2004 she starts composing, playing and singing her own songs.
In 2005 her debut album " Untitled Book" has been released. She composes all the songs, plays all the instruments and produces it entirely by herself. It's dedicated to her son Dylan.
Currently she is back to Italy, lives with her collegue guitarist Andrea Solarino and works with him to a new projects.
She works as a vocal coach.

REVIEWS

Eclectic
author: Amine
The thing I like of this album is the fact that there's no only one genre, but the artist explores different type of music. She's really eclectic and this is a feature I love in musicians. I have also appreciated the fact that she composed and performed and produced the whole thing by herself. Impressive.

You should have it!
author: Danny Werter
This album is simply terrific: great harmonies, great structures, great lyrics. And it's impressive Sarah has composed and played all the music herself! This album is just wonderful. It wraps you with love, sweetness. It takes you in a relaxing journey for your mind. The lyrics of the songs are little pieces of poetry. Especially Lilacs and Untitled Book. Sarah has a great sensitivity and she all expresses in music. I love It's you: the strings are amazing and they help changing mood from the verse to the refrain. Highly reccomended! Danny

Sarah Micol Untitled Book
author: Andrea Buongiorno

A true musician
author: Cel
Sarah Micol is a true musician. She's writes, plays, sings and records all of her songs on her own. They are beautiful dreamy melancholic songs, most of the the times just her and her piano. But that's more than enough, she has a beautiful and strong voice and her pianoskills are well up to standards! Really really good!!
