A friend turned me on to this album and I've really enjoyed it. Groovy and hard to classify - it doesn't fit neatly into any particular genre of music - which to me makes it all that much more playable...engaging songs with very appealing, seductive vocals and honest, smart, playful lyrics...a more downtown Lucinda Williams meets a less chaotic PJ Harvey meets a more zaftig Karen Carpenter. Well worth buying.
