With world class traditional East Indian instrumentation and English lyrics in the style of mystic lovers of God, Mirabai, Tagore, Rumi, and Kabir, the SOUL CALLS echo the age-old desire of the Soul for union with the Divine Beloved and give expression to the devotee’s spiritual journey and devotional experience.

The three CD’s of the SOUL CALLS TRILOGY; “Journey Within”, “In Thy Light”, and “Divine Beloved”, are introspective music meditations (concentration on God through the SOUL CALLS) that peacefully carry the consciousness within and turn it Godward.

For beginning meditators, spiritual aspirants, and those who value the interior life of loving God, the SOUL CALLS affirm the love and longing for, and the presence of, the Divine Beloved.

The SOUL CALLS are best listened to in sequence, on mp3 players or headphones for better sound quality and deeper consciousness immersion.

While there is a sequence, each of the SOUL CALLS is fulfilling independently, and since the spiritual journey is a revisitation of all of these experiences at ever-deepening levels, all three of the CD’s speak to the heart of the devotee - no matter how recent or advanced on the spiritual path one may be.

“SOUL CALLS ONE ~ JOURNEY WITHIN” begins from the point of the devotee being weary of the world and beginning to cry for God to reveal Him/Herself. “SOUL CALLS TWO ~ IN THY LIGHT” is about meditative experience and the devotee’s increasing yearning and spiritual awareness; arriving at last in a place of abiding peace. In the first track of this featured CD, the devotee keenly feels the desire to be awake in Truth and bathed in Divine Light where darkness cannot dwell.

In the second track, the devotee describes in praise and gratitude the meditative experience of the spiritual eye and the bliss of breathlessness in OM.

Recognizing the Divine Eternal Presence in meditation, the devotee is filled with ardor in the third track and affirms the will to go beyond phenomenon to merge with that Eternal Presence.

The fourth Soul Call echoes and responds to the words of Sri Daya Mataji in her book “Enter The Quiet Heart” (published by Self-Realization Fellowship) as She quotes Rabindranath Tagore, “Can’t you hear His footsteps falling? He comes, comes, ever comes.” The devotee affirms The Coming and calls upon God to inflame the soul and give the intoxicating drink of bliss consciousness.

In the fifth Soul Call of this CD, the devotee is anchored in the Divine, and life revolves around and is focused on the Divine Beloved. Recognizing that “… in God do I live, move, and have my being,” loving God is the only desire of the devotee’s heart; the only lasting value, the one Divine Goal .

The final Soul Call of this CD finds the devotee feeling the Divine Beloved within and from that Source comes great and unending peace, love and bliss; arriving at last as Sri Daya Mataji puts it, in a place of “quiet, worshipful waiting.”
