A happy song about love. I wrote this song for my daughter when she first started smiling (around 3 months old, I think). I did all of the guitar playing myself while recording this single, because I wrote the song on guitar. I've played this on piano in live shows, as I'm more capable on piano, but for the recording I wanted it to capture the original sounds of my playing and singing it to Zoey when she was just a creamy-faced infant. I imagine this song would be appropriate for couples who call each other "baby", as well as families with young children, new moms and dads, and grandparents.
