Album Notes

Theresa Sareo's voice can be powerful and tender, her music driving and flowing. Although this singer/songwriter was raised in Elmira, NY, she calls New York City her home. Fittingly, the images in her music reflect both the intensity of the big city and the down-to-earth simplicity of the small town.

Following a period of indie/dance music success, she is back to her roots performing acoustic/electric pop music in New York venues including the The Bitter End, CB's 313 Gallery, the Hard Rock Cafe and the Hammerstien Ballroom. She is a regular at Borders Bookstore, Yale University in New Haven, CT., and has written and performed music for renowned artist Mark Kostabi, author Betty Eadie and Dr. M. Scott Peck. She has recently returned from a successful tour of London.
Theresa is also involved with Swirling Record's CD, Soap Sessions, Vol. I, featuring songs by five popular daytime soap actors. She is included as a songwriter, background vocalist and shares a duet with All My Children's Vincent Irizzary. For more details check: www.swirlingrecords.com.

Her debut CD, Theresa Sareo, highlights her technical and emotional range and includes the Billboard contest-winning song "Time Flies". It is available on the internet at Theresa's website, www.theresasareo.com.

Her new enhanced CD, Embrace, includes an interview and music video of the title track. A music video of the second track, Even As You Walk Away, can be seen on Theresa's website. The CD's third track, Dunedin, is written about the Floridian town of Dunedin and was dedicated to Dunedin's First Night 2001 New Year's Eve event where Theresa was a featured performer. She recorded, produced and released both the Embrace and Theresa Sareo CD's on her record label, Rocking Chair Records, with business partner Ethan Hartshorn.

Theresa can be heard online at CDBaby.com and MP3.com. Embrace is available at Cappy's, The Community Bookstore, CDBaby.com and on her website.
