Saskia was discovered on Soulseek, and is that rare blend of musician, visual artist, and performing artist. Hailing from Barcelona, Spain, Saskia brings emotional sensitivity and dramatic flare to her music. It's music that makes you wanna dance, that makes you think...and may even move you to shed a tear for lost love. A singer/songwriter, Saskia has been writing her own music since the age of 17. On this perspective release, entitled "Deep", she collaborates with producers Kilowatts, Joe Troskie, and EarsAkimbo.

Uncanny
author: Saskia LyngeI truly love this album...and not just because I have the same name as the artist, which now means I can't release an album of my own as "Saskia" now...lol...but that's okay. Her songs and voice are amazing. Her lyrics are soulful, deep, (hence the name of the album) moving, and just down right beautiful. I could relate to the feelings behind her songs in many ways, and I'm sure so many other woman can, too. In fact, I now have to change some of my own lyrics since they're so similar to hers...lol...but again, that's okay. This album is absolutely amazing. Why she hasn't been signed by a major label yet, I don't know. Shoot, she should just audition for American Idol and clean sweep the whole show. She'd be America's favorite for sure. And she definitely will be one day, that's for sure as well. A great album hands down.
