Leslie,
The last time I heard you sing was when you were my roommate at Texas A&M. We almost starved to death that year but you played your guitar and we sang until we were happy!! And I got to listen to all that talent you possess....for FREE!! Wasn't I the luckiest student at A&M!?! Your voice still sounds as sweet and beautiful as it did then, but now with a professional band, each sample I listened to sounds like a #1 HIT!! However, I prefer just your voice with your guitar because those are the REAL #1's. God really does answer prayers, and the cream always rises to the top. I love you and it made my heart smile to see your write-up in our local hometown Texas newspaper. I am so proud of you and cannot believe how the years have flown by. Since being here is CS, I have often thought of you when driving by our old apartment, and wondered where you are! Now I know! I had no idea you wrote all those songs, but you know what....it did not surprise me ONE IOTA! You have always been a supreme talent....all you needed was a chance, and it looks like you made it. I loved the line in the newspaper about money not changing you. And I KNOW that is true because I know your heart. Going to Southern Maid and getting a lime dougnut and a Coke is classic! I am all over that! Reading that article has made my week so much brighter. May God Bless you always. Love, Cyndi.
