The music of the band, Saturday at 11, can be described as a wonderful blend of alternative rock and folk with a smattering of jazz. The three musicians, Michelle Lamb, Scott Menard and Jeff Reiner not only come from different parts of the U.S., but also developed their chops in different genres: blues, folk and rock. They hooked up through the internet in the Seattle area and fell into rehearsing every "Saturday at 11." It all comes together smoothly on their self-titled CD--sort of a cross between Sheryl Crow, Aimee Mann and Sarah McLachlan.
KANGAR INTERNATIONAL RADIO REVIEW
(www.kangarradio.com)
"Saturday at 11 is a great little disc with a very big sound. I loved the vocals as it was a bit of country and a bit of rock in the sound of classic Fleetwood Mac. The flow of the music from the first track to the last track was nothing less then amazing. I loved the lyrics as they had feeling to go with the sound and vocals. The over all production of the CD was nothing less then great and the arrangement of the songs were also amazing."
