Album Notes

In the late 90’s the Seattle music scene was full of projects that crossed over the jazz, funk, rock lines and Sauce was very much a part of that movement. Tenor Saxophonist, Steve Gauci quickly made a name for himself in the as “heavy” player and received a great deal of press for his playing. Mike Peterson is legendary not only for his astounding drumming, but also for unforgettable antics and personality. Bob Heinemann is mostly known for his groove on the electric bass and has played in a wide variety of settings and tons of groups.
Steve Gauci now lives in Brooklyn and has multiple releases and has become a prominent voice the vibrant free jazz scene in New York. Mike Peterson is busy with the rock heavy hitters The Accused.
