A fantastic effort released in 2003. A fresh new approach to well thought out rock and roll. Saunter wants you to think about what you're hearing, but not to think too hard. This is Southern Indie Rock with a saxophone.

Album Notes

Saunter's new EP is already receiving rave reviews from those within the NC music industry. Produced and mastered at NVision Studios in Raleigh, NC, the music here demonstrates the band coming of age. Teaming up with Grammy nominated producer John Custer and engineerFran Dyer, Saunter delivers a true sonic gem.

This album has become a labor of love for chief composer and guitarist/vocalist Matthew Davis. After devoting countless hours to studio, managing, booking, and everything else an unknown band endures; the fruits of everyone's labor is clearly evident on this 4 track release.

The four years of stop and go touring, rehearsing, recording, and self-medicating find the band with their own unique sound and poised to effect their own breakout. They've also begun to align themselves with industry heavy-hitters, helping further their chances of success.

Keep an eye and an ear out for Saunter...we'll be hearing much more from them very soon.
