Excellent voice, excellent renditions of great pieces.
author: C. ChristianThis CD is a keeper, with excellent renditions of great pieces. Having first met Stephen Patterson in his role as Marius in Les Miserables, I was happy that Tonight at Eight included the song Empty Chairs. His beautiful voice and interpretations adapted perfectly to the variety of songs on this CD. Including Robin in one piece added another wonderful voice to the set. Because I work at a school of elite musical performers in Princeton NJ, I am accustomed to hearing superb voices. Stephen and Robin would fit in quite well in this milieu. This CD is a five star winner!
Stephen Patterson - a rare find
author: Michael HammondHaving had the pleasure of seeing Stephen in "Little Women", I immmediately went to his website to order his CD! His voice is amazing. This is a great disc with fresh interpretations of my favorite songs. A must have for theatre lovers or anyone who appreciates an amazing singing voice! For anyone studying voice, this CD is like a Master Class in singing.
Fantastic voice and beautiful interpretation of the songs.
author: JohnStephen's voice is magnificent. His voice's clarity and strength is refreshing in an area of theatre that is overrun by pomp and feigned gusto. His interpretations of the classics are wonderful and his versatility impressive. A true joy to listen to from beginning to end.
