Album Notes

On March 22, 2008, Beth Scalet was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame. This four-year-old organization honors musicians from the Kansas and Kansas City metro area who have contributed significantly to the music of the area for more than 30 years. Previous honorees have included Melissa Etheridge, Martina McBride, Pat Metheny, Kelley Hunt, Big Joe Turner, Marilyn Maye, Mike Finnegan, and numerous bands that have performed throughout the area. Pretty heady company, indeed!

In celebration of this honor, Beth has put together a collection of her best material from each CD she has released and taken it back to the mastering studio for digital enhancement. The CD, "Body of Work: The Best of Beth Scalet" is now available!
