Album Notes

SCAREDYCAT's debut CD on No Label Records.

17 fast songs in 17 fast minutes.

Exuberant music that will make you accept your hardcore fate. Also on iTunes.

SCAREDYCAT are a genius of a band, with fast, pacemaker-blowing hardcore punk parts, stop and start time changes and some funny vocals approaching 80's-metal-style wails at times. Total buffoonery and must be heard to be believed!! What a solid CD this is... find now!
-SHORT, FAST & LOUD #10

"Goofy, funny hardcore from a group of very proficient musicians. This is a pretty fun disc and the music is tight!" -RAZORCAKE #8

"You read it right kids: 17 songs but clocking in at only a bit over 16 minutes. This is the kind of hardcore-era rock that is somewhat missing in this age of nu-metal bombastics and the waning idea of hair bands from the 80's, which is making a strange comeback. Nope, SCAREDYCAT is three guys playing loud and fast hardcore for about a minute or so, the type of early DRI and inception of grindcore which pumps out quick chords and nuttiness...Scaredycat is fine and dandy!"
-SHREDDING PAPER #13

Formed in May 2000. Started writing 1-minute songs in a burst of spastic frustration. Band stayed the course in producing hardcore fury until the drummer quit in July, 2003. Hardcore as exuberance rather than "I'm tougher than you" was the mantra.

The band continually played all ages venues and clubs throughout SoCal and The West. Immersed in the DIY ethic.

DEFORMED 2003. A jumble of instrument changes and the addition of a new fellow-SPASTIC has resulted in THE CAT descendant: APOCALYPSE WOW!

This CD is so good. They’re amazing. Its fast, it’s fun and if you don't buy it, you WILL regret it, believe me. A band that can fit the lyrics "spend your time wasting mine, that's it for you" in a song that's only two seconds long [Track 7. Existentialist Stomp] deserve a hell of a lot of respect. So BUY THIS CD!!!.
