Scearce and Ketner are to music as a margarita and
sailboat are to a hot summer day in the islands. They have been raiding the east coast from the Carolina’s to
Boston, to the Florida Gulf Coast for more than 10 years.
Dicky Scearce and Jack Ketner met in the mid eighties while performing with the Carter Bros. Band.
This group gave them a chance to hone their musical
skills in such far flung places as Norway, Canada...most
of the US all the way to Sloppy Joe’s Key West (their
spiritual home)!
Dicky’s clear, powerful voice and solid guitar rhythms
are perfectly matched with Jack’s ringing licks on guitar,
violin and mandolin. Combine their outstanding vocal harmonies, seamless stage presence, 6 CD’s (4
studio and 2 LIVE!), a state of the art sound sys-
tem and the effect is that of a full band rather than a duo.
Highlights of their show are originals and a set of Buffett songs that will make even the most die-hard
“Parrothead” smile!
