Album Notes

This is the second album of meditation music, following on the success of the first album, "Unto The Hills," both of which are recordings of solo acoustic piano, using traditional hymn tunes as a foundation for improvisation and inspiration. This recording allows the listener to breathe, reflect, pray, and relax into the music.

Catherine Schane-Lydon has been a church musician for over thirty years, often using improvisation during quiet times in services to "tap into a muse" and discover new pathways in familiar music. After services, people would compliment the music, saying that it enabled them to find peace and comfort.
