Album Notes

Schatzy, was started 1999, in New Orleans. The song notebooks, multiinstrumentalist Greg Schatz were piling up under his bed. Known as a bass player , greg set out to front an energetic original band on accordion. Songs are quirky often dancable, fun, hartwrenching, tragically humourous, and always memorable. Jeremy Lyons lends his legendary craftsmanship as a slide and fingerstyle guitar player. An irresistable beat is provided by maste drummer Paul Santopadre (Steve Riley, Co Co Robichaux). Joined by Steve Calandra on the bass, (Egg Yolke Juballie, Morning Forty Federation, R. Scully Band),. This is the groups second c.d. the first will be available on c.d. baby shortly. The band plays regularly in New Orleans, so look them up is you are ever in the cresent city.
