Album Notes

Teri Scheinzeit's recent CD, This Time, has been called by fans "My favorite. One I play over and over" and "A CD I listen to every morning." The album, released on the Papa Jules Music label (ASCAP) is a collection of ten original songs. Teri's music is contemporary folk, but with a unique sensibility. Her voice is sweet and strong, her lyrics richly powerful.

Teri has performed at various clubs and coffee houses around New York City. She performed for Oxygen Media as part of their national "tank tour" and was recently part of a live webcast radio show for Culturebodega.com. She launched the music series at both The Creative Center for Women and The Kristen Ann Carr Coffee House.

Teri is a co-founder of AppleJam (Musicians for a Good Cause), a NYC concert series in which bands play pro bono and proceeds are donated to local charities. She is also the founder of Healing Hearts, an organization committed to empowering the healing community through music. She frequently performs for AIDS and cancer patients including concerts for Hearts & Voices, The Ronald McDonald House and Gilda's Club.
