Album Notes
My love for music is such, that when I'm not singing, a part of me is missing, and my heart is not full.
I have been singing since I was a little girl. I have a lot of fun on stage, and I make sure you do to! When I’m singing a great song, I give myself chills! Can you relate? My first break was when I was dancing in a show in Vegas. I did a little singing too. Then I started singing with trio's in clubs, here and there. L.A. and the Palm Springs Area. My first love was jazz and blues. I was doing demo work for a friend, doing Country songs, and I found that I had an affinity for Country writing. I started writing, about 14 years ago, and it came out Country Rock, and Blues. Always loved the soul ladies, like Billy Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Nancy Wilson, Gladis Night, Etta James, CoCo Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, and Wynona, and so many more blues and rock groups influence me as well. I have been back in LA, the past 13 years. I am performing as much as I can! I performed with my own band, “Schiada” for 5 years, to promote my CD, that I co-produced, as well as the arranged. I wrote 8 out of the 10 songs on it. This is my baby, my CD, "Come Out and Play”, and I think it is a great product! I spent a year creating, and hosting my own internet radio show, KCLA I also sing rock, blues, country, and jazz with two different bands, and I love it all! Hope I have sparked your "County, Rockin, ‘Blues" interest in my songs, as well as my talent! Also, check it out!! My Link on Youtube, (lower left-side). I am a featured singer with a band called Choyce, at the end, just before credits, we do Rock & Roll, and R&B.
Most recently performing Jazz, R&B under the name "Carol Schiada & Friends".........2 Sundays a month at "Cat Man Blu" in Long Beach, Ca. Thank you for this opportunity to tell you who I am. Hope you enjoy listening to my songs, as much as I do singing them!

Schiada Rocks
I have been lucky enough to see Carol sing live. She is one of the best singers I have heard, especially when it comes to the blues and jazz. She is an excellent stage performer, she captivates her audience. I really like Taken a Detour and Oh Little Girl on this CD. Carol please add some blues to your website to show your versatality. You are so blessed to have such a beautiful voice and I am glad you are letting the rest of the world hear it.

Terrific Singer
Carol is a beautiful person, a great personality, and a terrific singer of her songs, as well as the Great American Song Book. I'm also in love with her.
"Come out and see her play"

I love your CD, and I am not a country fan usually, but I like this a lot! Your vocals are rich, smooth and powerful, and your lyrics are cleaver and catchy! You did a great job! From my friend, and fabulous singer, songwriter herself, Connierae

Impressive voice!
I am fortunate enough to have shared the stage backing up Carol many times over the years, and I have always been very impressed with and impacted by her voice. I would describe her voice as the classic "torch singer" type perfectly suited for jazz, blues, or country with the energy and presence of a rock singer. Carol is one of very few people in the world who I share this harmonizing magic with where we could be on a stage anywhere, haven't seen each other in a year, and harmonize together as one perfect musical voice on a chorus and we just look at each other and smile enjoying the magic of the moment! You must see her live, her performances are captivating, and her voice is unforgettable...and this is coming from a hard rocker!!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Schiada for a number of years and watching her come into her own as an artist. The album "Come Out & Play" is truly enjoyable and the lyrics and melodies are exquisite. What impresses me the most about Schiada is the heart and soul she exudes in every song and every performance. She is truly the "real thing."

Just checking this out, and see how this plays. Very impressed with production,
This and extention of Country, Rock, Blues in one! Love the story, and the simplicity of the messegses. She makes me want to know her, (or that little girl inside) better. Would love to see her perform, and also I am interested in publishing, or passing one of her songs on to someone known, like Wynona, Tanya, Bonnie Raitt!
