ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
DADDY DIDN'T LIKE RODEO, BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP HIM....

At age thirteen his father refused to sign the release form allowing TA to compete at the hometown jr. rodeo in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He ended up on a plane and went to live with his sister, a trick rider herself, married to a rodeo contractor. In reflection he say's; "I may have been the only kid born in the East, raised in the West, that ended up going East to start a rodeo career. And ever since his friends are quick to tell you; The longest TA ever stayed anywhere was in his mothers womb!
Though he had a couple of good years, the...........

OF THE SONG "BORN TO RIDE"; Sometimes I would sit in that tree for hours, just waiting on those horses. When they had enough grass they would come under that big ole' tree for some shade. Even at a very young age, instinct told me which ones to try and jump on and which ones not too. More than likely it was my guardian angel looking after me. My older brothers had a self imposed law; You could not ride a horse unless you could catch it and saddle it yourself. Eventually, I got it done, and eventually I...............

OF THE SONG "I WANNA GO BACK AND BE A DINOSAUR"

"have pity on a dinosaur, I should of died out a long time before." Our songs came out totally different but I guarantee you.............

EVERY SONG HAS A STORY, AND YOU CAN GET THE WHOLE STORY IN THE SIX PAGE PHOTO SPREAD AND WRITE UP INSIDE THE
"DADDY DIDN'T LIKE RODEO" CD.

TA has been a million miles more than once, more than twice actually. And they surely were not all first class air miles. He is a walking story book just waiting to be read. His songs have words that mean something. So sit down, make yourself comfortable, put on your headset, and start listening to chapter one.

..." My oldest brother Gordon attended Casper College in the late 60's. It was just a tiny jr. college but it produced world class cowboys. He was on the rodeo team as an alternate along with JC Bonine, Ivan Daines, Jerome Robinson, Joe Alexander. Gordon bounced around in the top 5 in the saddle broncs, and the top 10 in the bulls in the college standings and....
