"Craig Schoedler's latest cd, THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT A MOUNTAIN, is another
winner from the most eclectic artist I know. This musician is well-known in
musical circles as a world class electric bassist, whose first release, BY THE
WATER, is a jazz fusion classic. As someone who has actually had the privilege
of playing with this guy, let me say that Craig is totally smokin' on these
grooves, which feature many great solos. His follow-up cd was a total surprise:
electric bass plays Bach! Simply amazing! Now, with THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT A
MOUNTAIN, Craig does it again with melody-filled, spacious compositions that
strongly evoke Nature and outdoors-ness in general. I have logged several
hundred miles on the Appalachian Trail and this cd is the perfect soundtrack for
my experiences on the trail. If you like great music and mountains, buy this
