Having just discovered this amazing lady's music, I am currently awaiting the delivery of her album 'The Good Stuff'. First heard Schuyler Fisk on the movie Im Reed Fish..as most of you probably have..(and probably way before this)..anyway..I was instantly hooked ! The quality of the song writing is just brilliant, the voice is breathtakingly beautiful..the subject of her songs is easily accesible by just about everyone..Im just sorry it took me so long to find her..I hope that she tours Australia :) If you want music in your collection that you can listen to over and over again and still get that warm fuzzy feeling each time  then this is it.. Schuyler Fisk...more please !!! This Aussie guy is a massive fan :)

I've been browsing categories, looking for someone new, someone with a beautiful voice, a deep but gentle soul with a lot of heart, to keep my broken one company when I drive around in LA in my car and end up crying over the death of my Mom -- my best friend -- and I found her! I've played my Indigo Girls and Cheryl Crow, my old Roaches CDs and all of the many wonderful alternative folksy people I've loved who've been my driving companions for so many years that I know every word and note by heart. I really need someone new to sing along with and hold my hand, so to speak, in this crazy stressful city (LA) and I just can't wait to get this CD. The second I heard the first preview I knew Schuyler was it. Of course I listened to all of the previews and after having previewed dozens of gals in so many genres, and looking for something or someone who would lift me up or pull me in the way that say John Hiatt, or Bonnie Raitt, or so many other gifted-voiced musical storytellers do, I just knew this CD would fit me like a comfortable pair of shoes.
