Self-Bootleg is much like Eric's current solo live show. Well, it IS a current solo live show ('cept for some groove and the occasional outburst from the inimitable Billy Jonas.) Runs the gamut from smooth to smut, vulnerable to vulvic, with an emphasis on the latter. Ever the entertainer, Eric's worst nightmare is an audience just SITTING there. He writes accordingly. You'll love him. You'll hate him. You'll do him. You'll laugh in spite of yourself. Or your date.

Smart, hilarious, and good music too
author: Gail
This CD shows the breadth and depth of Eric Schwartz' talent. Smart lyrics, hilarious stories and ideas, compelling delivery and a musical ability on guitar, piano and voice that is equally comfortable doing Billy Joel, Elvis, Johnny Cash or something else that is uniquely Eric's own. During his first faux-romantic song, Eric jokes that you'll probably want to get with him after seeing him perform. After listening to this CD, you really will want to.

Another Masterpiece from Eric
author: Coral James
This album should be in every house in America. The first cut is hilarious!! It is around ten minutes long-you have got to hear it!! You can't help but laugh, it's too funny. Tell Tale kitchen explains how to keep the new love-interest in your life. Moishe the Kid is very special. Great Big World is fast and funny. I really enjoyed Children's Songs Montage, it is a twisted song, very good. Who Da Bitch Now (plus) is even better than the first version. Is It Wrong (to want to be loved by someone as lovely as you) is somewhere we have all been at one time or another. Don't ask was one of my favorites. Only Be IS my all time favorite. The music and lyrics are habit forming. I can't get this one out of my head. Should be a #1 hit, why isn't it?? Houston, we have a problem is too painful to even explain, let's just say how loud can you ladies scream? I'm Gonna Piss On A Hornet's nest should be sent to a certain politician, along with live hornets. Jesus envy reminded me of long days spent in church. Aisle B is for the ladies. This album has something for everyone on it. It is a masterpiece!!

Laugh Out Loud Funny
author: Brenda
Great stuff. Just like hearing Eric in concert. We were lucky enough to have him out on the West coast this last summer. Most all the songs will have you rolling with laughter -- some only after a moment of disgust and offense.
Have fun!
