Album Notes

Drawing inspiration from international song writers/worship leaders such as Audra Lynn, Matt Gilman and Misty Edwards, Scott's songs are formed and written in a deep place of contemplation. With his music he seeks to inspire and to exhort all who may hear to find a deeper place in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and who he wants to be in our lives. A Father, a lover and a friend.
Scott has been involved creatively and musically from a very young age. His involvement in bands and other creative projects has proven to be quite vast in his musical development as a musician (drums, bass, guitar, keyboard) and as a vocalist and songwriter. As he began attending Perth Christian Life Centre in Western Australia in 2004, he started to develop a desire to search out the depths in music and creativity and began using his gift to glorify God and to encourage others in encounter and intimacy with their maker. Becoming involved in worship leadership at the age of 17, Scott soon found there was more to music than simply just chord progressions and catchy hooks. Not only on a musical level but on a technical front, Scott has developed a vast aptitude in the area of audio engineering since completing his Diploma at SAE Perth. As head engineer at Messenger Studio in Perth, Western Australia, Scott has crafted his ability through recording, mixing and producing several bands, artists and churches including his own debut album “Reverie” released in April 2011.
Scott continues to be involved and various bands and projects as he feels there is no limit to God given creativity, but has found his primary calling in using his gift for the glory and benefit of making known the love of God.
