notes
Scott B. Adams is a prolific musician/songwriter who has managed to successfully launch a record label, build a recording studio, and sustain a career in the music industry for over fifteen years. His recorded music has been heard across the country and around the world on various satellite networks. His cds are sold across the U.S. and have exceeded 200,000 units in sales.
Scott resides in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State with his wife and two daughters. Most of his music is produced in his own 1500 square foot “Acoustic Barn” recording studios. Inside, the walls are covered with Pine Barn Board, the windows overlook a 20 mile Cayuga Lake country side panorama, and a wood stove produces heat for the main room during the cold months.
Recent career “highlights” include a performance at the dedication of “Pine Knot”* as a National Historic Landmark, the Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid and the contribution of the soundtrack to the acclaimed PBS special, “Adirondack Wild”. Scott was invited & performed at the White House in 1998 and toured with The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra in 1999. Since 2001 Scott has made various recording excursion to the Adirondacks. Most recently, he recorded the music for the cds “Adirondack Wild” and “Return to the Adirondacks” on location in Speculator in a 100 year old, un-insulated log cabin. As January thermometer readings dipped to 29 below zero, Scott found inspiration in the peaceful Adirondack setting. Since 1995 Scott has performed in Festivals, Arts Shows, and Concerts, putting him in contact with the public at the rate of many thousands of people every month.
