Album Notes

Scott Davis was born and reared near Atlanta in Stockbridge, Georgia. He received Christ at the age of sixteen on July 10, 1979. A well-rounded high school athlete, Scott participated in baseball, basketball, soccer, and football.

While working toward his degree in cross-cultural studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Scott traveled across the U.S. and to ten foreign countries with the Light Singers. Scott's ministry has continued in the U.S. and abroad since his graduation in 1984. He has taken the gospel of Christ personally and via television to hundreds of thousands of people.

Scott has appeared on Mark Lowry's videos and has written comedy for Mark while under contract with Word Records. For a year, Scott appeared weekly on the national television show, "The Mark & Kathy Show," with Mark Lowry and Kathy Troccoli. Along with his weekly appearances, he has been a guest on numerous religious and secular radio and television broadcasts, including an appearance with comedian Dennis Swanberg on "Swan's Place."

Today, Scott conducts Hope Through Hilarity concert events. His goal is to provide a fresh and distinctive church concert experience. An energizing mixture of inspirational and contemporary music is uniquely spiced with hilarious stories and comedy and sweetened with real life testimony of God's unchanging Mercy and Grace. It's a rejuvenating recipe for Joy and a life-changing message of Redemption and Restoration.

Scott and his wife, Donna, married in 1998 and reside in Stockbridge, Georgia.
