Since childhood Scott Dawson has dreamed of being a singer/songwriter. Music has always been the joy of Scott's heart and to be able to write and record his own material is the fulfillment of his deepest desires. Scott references Psalm 37:4, "Rejoice in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." The title cut "Dedicated Man" is Scott's personal prayer to be the Godly husband and father he was called to be. To share his music with others is a dream that has finally become a reality. "Dedicated Man" is a collection of originals that speak of a songwriter committed to excellence. Scott strives to compose three minute masterpieces that keep the listener riveted to their stereo.

As an anesthetist in Cincinnati, Ohio, Scott is as conscientious about his songwriting as he is about his profession. Major influences such as Paul McCartney, Burt Bacharach, Brian Wilson, Paul Overstreet, Alan Jackson and Buck Owens give this country album a unique blend of sophistication and twang. Songs that tell the stories of a boy and his dying grandma, a husband's prayer to be the man he promised to be, a spunky ultimatum from a desperate lover, and more truly original songs to make you smile and sing along.

Last August, "Dedicated Man" was released to 14 European nations on the Comstock Records label. Scott was very excited to bring his music to Europe where many honest country music fans reside. His CD received generous airplay and even reached the top 20 most played lists in some countries. Scott extends a cheerful hello to all his European listeners and desires to hear their thoughts concerning his music. He is proud to be singing on their airwaves!!! Recorded on Nashville's Music Row with the hottest session players in town, including Buddy Emmons (inventor of the pedal steel guitar), Byrd Burton, Craig Krampf and Bob Babbitt (of the famous Motown Funk Brothers). Of course, this production would not have been possible without the talents and abilities of accomplished Nashville producer Neal James (NealJames.com)with whom Scott has developed a very close relationship over the years. October 2006 saw Scott add "I'll Fly" and "Dedicated Man" as singles on the Triplestrand Productions compilation CD.
