I've stopped worrying about my songs, and if their music is complex enough. I've found that beauty can be so simple, without the pretense of elite stuff.

Album Notes

This album marks a return to my classical roots with the piano. It is also a sort-of science fair experiment with music. For instance, despite the emphasis on piano, I still used elements from my first album, such as the accordion and harmonica, and I added a few newbies like bassoon and concertina as well.

This album contains songs about stalkers, extraterrestrial communication, workaholism, the American legal system, apathetic ex-boyfriends, pagan goddesses, expanding your vocabulary, my "cult" in high school, and even a song about writing songs. It definitely was not made with the intention of pleasing crowds, but instead for the joy of creating music, so if you're looking for top-40 material, this is definitely the wrong place.
