The centerpiece of this 37+ minute CD is a multitrack meditation: a 24 and 1/2 minute long auditory exhibition of the growling, rhythmic beauty of electric bass guitar left largely unaltered by effects. The remaining 13 minutes of this CD consists of pieces produced with digital multitrack recording technology and a variety of instruments. Hall’s work is multiply layered, diverse in musical reference, and rich in tone, timbre, and texture. In all, "Scultura Sana 2" [Sound Sculpture 2] is harmonious, picturesque, and quite listenable.

Five thumbs up. The short pieces left me wanting more! Groove for the Uncommon Attention Span was 24 minutes well spent.  I really liked how the strong backbone and subtle changes played out.
