Referred to as a belting, 'super tenor,' Scott Gryder uses the sounds of his inspirations, blending a musical cocktail of the zingy warbles of vintage Judy Garland with the poise and show business charisma of Joel Grey.

The album consists of some of the greatest hits from his cabaret gig in Chicago, SIMPLY SCOTTY, the first Sunday of every month at 3160 Piano & Cabaret (3160 N. Clark), where he recently celebrated a year of performance. His musical style plays from pop and cabaret to specialty numbers and show tunes, covering the works of such local talents as Susan Werner and spanning to such stars as Elton John and many more.

Most recently, Scott met a loquacious, wise-cracking new friend Freddie The Puppet and incorporated his no-holds-barred energy and singing talents into his monthly act, SIMPLY SCOTTY.

Currently, he can be seen performing in the Chicago cabaret circuit.
