Like a cool trade wind that breezes in from the South Pacific Hawaiian Islands, AIRTIME recording artist SCOTT KATSURA is soaring high with his newly released ALOHA MILES AWAY CD-album. Overseas, he is frequently regarded as the first international pop star associated with Hawaii since 'Don Ho'. Scott is quickly captivating mainstream audiences worldwide.

ALOHA MILES AWAY was born shortly after the events of 9/11 - and in already being a resident of Manhattan for thirteen-years, SCOTT was drastically affected to the first degree. By experiencing a spiritual, mental and artistic revelation, like never before, he was inspired to compose songs through his native Hawaiian eyes; SCOTT took a shot at producing himself for the very first time; SCOTT chose Hawaii as his theme for the project; SCOTT personally hand picked the entire production crew; and then SCOTT changed his professional stage name from Scott Allan (first, middle name) to plainly SCOTT KATSURA (first, last name).

By working with people who shared the same passion for the ALOHA MILES AWAY production - Broadway singer David Velarde and jazz pianist Martin Bejerano, KATSURA has succeeded in creating a musical montage well representing his lifestyle of sharing the 'Aloha Spirit', while living in New York City and touring around the world. SCOTT and ALOHA MILES AWAY is inspiring a global language of musical simplicity, in a wholesome and refreshing way. In SCOTT'S own words, "Everyone near and far loves Hawaii. Everyone needs to know what the 'Spirit of Aloha' is all about - that is, sharing, caring, giving, living, family, love.
